IGNITE CSOs (Improving Governance, Networking, Inclusivity Towards Empowered Civil Society Organisations) has launched its Call for Applications for scholarships affording CSOs access to micro-credential courses, along with internationally recognized certificates from relevant professional entities, in the areas of Governance, Financial Management, Project Management and Human Resource (HR) Management. These select areas align with the Accountability focus of IGNITE CSOs, which has seen the creation of the National Accountability Framework (NAF) and an accompanying CSO Self-Assessment Tool. Together, they establish important steps in promoting a more proactive, self-regulated civil society sector.
All interested CSOs across Trinidad and Tobago are invited to apply by January 20, 2026, for this opportunity for subsidised access to at least one of the four courses.
Note: Special consideration will be afforded to under-resourced CSOs who will be eligible for subsidised access to ALL FOUR courses!
Our e-learning programme will commence in late January 2026 with the roll-out of our first two courses in Governance and Project Management tailored for CSOs. HR Management and Financial Management courses will become available in April 2026.
Before applying for these scholarship opportunities, CSOs are required to read the full National Accountability Framework, also available for download here, and must have completed their organisation’s first assessment using the CSO Self-Assessment Tool.
