Why Consent is Required
Before filing your incorporation application, every person who will be included in the application — Directors, Incorporators, and Statement Signatories — must formally consent through their own CROS account. This step must be completed by each person individually.
Minimum Directors Required
A Non-Profit Organisation must have a minimum of three (3) Directors. All three must each complete the consent process below.
Steps for Each Director
- Log on to CROS using their own CRA
- Select My Account
- Click Approval
- For Type, select Yet to Be
- For Role, select the appropriate role:
- Director — persons who will serve as directors
- Incorporator — persons incorporating the organisation
- Statement Signatory — a director, attorney-at-law, or secretary
- For Identifier, enter the Name Reservation Number (from the approval email)
- For Name, enter the approved company name
After Each Person Consents
Each Director must provide the applicant (the person filing the incorporation) with their surname and Account PIN. You will need these to complete the incorporation application on their behalf.
